Case study: Charity pro bono UX design project

The Global Girl Project is a small not-for-profit which supports at-risk, socially minded young women aged 15 to 18 years from developing countries to gain educational and life experiences so that they can become leaders in their own community. They needed some pro bono UX support to enhance their online presence and promote their legitimacy.

What we did…

Nomat undertook 12 months of pro bono UX research and design to support Global Girl Project in the development of a new website. We sought to understand the needs of the organisation from a new website and undertook research activities including a True Intent Survey, Card Sort and Usability testing to design and refine the IA of the new site.

Feedback from Global Girl ā€œI just wanted to let you and your team know again about how thankful I am for the gift that you gave Global Girl Project. I have been getting so much positive feedback about our new site. Lots of new people are finding out about Global Girl Project and they are going to our new site, and getting an amazing idea of the work that we do and that’s all because of you!!ā€
